Zihuatanejo
Zihuatanejo has grown from a sleepy little fishing village nestled in a lovely harbor to an enchanting vacation spot. Although luxurious resort hotels have risen along the waterfront, the town still retains an easy-going pace. Sunbathers will delight in Zihuatanejos array of shimmering beaches, and the adventurous of heart can enjoy great scuba diving and deep-sea fishing.
Currency
Mexico's currency is the peso (MXN). The $ sign is used to refer to pesos, so don't be shocked at the price tags. Any prices in U.S. dollars are listed as US$ or USD. Many hotels, restaurants and shops also accept major credit cards, which usually offer you a good exchange rate.
